Will the force be with you?

Microsoft researchers developed a prototype of a force-sensing technology that will allow the user to apply different kinds of force to a device, like twisting or bending, to do flip through pages of a document or swing through applications.

The device has four sensors that detect how you're trying to manipulate it, so it doesn't even have to actually flexible. Researchers think the technology will complement—not replace—touchscreens, making devices more active and engaging.
